# END -TIME INSTRUCTIONS..
"As I urged you when I went into Macedonia—remain in Ephesus that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine, nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith. Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm. But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust." (1 Timothy 1:3-11, NKJV)
LISTEN FAMILY: If YOU are a Christian, with ANY apostolic, apologetic or evangelistic bone in your body (so to speak), I'm SURE you often question the relevance and value of your voice or witness to the world; with so many "competing voices" vying for affection and attention from the masses..
In Paul's encouragement to his spiritual son Timothy, he reminds him of several important principles in regard to his destiny and assignment for the Lord:
1. Stay in "your fight" (lane)! You are uniquely anointed to do what no one else can.
2. Don't waver from the truth you know, by being easily swayed, or not holding others to accountability for what they represent "in HIS Name".
3. Boldly and consistently walk in authority (without fear), because you may be a "voice crying in the wilderness"; while everyone else buys into the culture's - lies, ways and attitudes.
4. Recognize what is truly "profitable", by valuing spiritual truth, applying what you learn from God's Word, and then resigning from pursuing faddish escapades and escapist' philosophies.
5. Don't be a shallow legalist whose more into form (appearance) than substance. Meaning, if "social acceptance" is more important that "Kingdom advancement", you'll compromise and empathize with the declining morality of our world.
6. The ONLY "true mastery of ministry", is to never stop growing in the "love of God"! A godless world is NOT going to warm.up to the things of God, all of a sudden! The remnant in revival will light a flame in the world, and then "our transformation" will facilitate "their transformation"; because the commission has been given to us, HIS Church.
7. Don't fear the disagreement, judgment or persecution of those who believe differently. The "intimidated believer" and "closet Christian" doesn't have much longer to compromise or to hide from fulfilling their God-ordained purpose "in Christ"; because the HOUR IS LATE!
