“WHOSE INFLUENCING, WHO?”
Yesterday, while I was addressing a Brother-in-Christ and a friend's inquiry about my support of President Donald J. Trump in this upcoming election for the "twentieth time" - literally, I realized something that should be fairly obvious and well known...
I actively have a BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW that encompasses every area and aspect of my BELIEFS, LIFE, FAMILY, RELATIONHIPS, and VALUES, but that's NOT necessarily the same as other Christians!
Well, "how" is that possible?
Think about it this way — If 1/3 of the pie demonstrates a "weighted influence" on the whole pie (3/3) the remaining 2/3 of the pie has the predominate influence, if the weight of the material substance or makeup is the same.
Example: 1/3 (bible) + 1/3 (church) vs 1/3 (partying)
SOME CHRISTIANS believe that their "partying" every once and a while does NOT "outweigh" their "bible reading" and "church attendance", so HOW could that worldly or ungodly influence "taint" the purity of their devotion to GOD?
Well, it's somewhat difficult to understand, but ONLY if you've not been properly discipled in Christ through GRADUATED DEVELOPMENT!
"Graduated Development" represents the principle of spiritual growth and development that occurs over time, based upon the ongoing maturity and commitment of the disciple to their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Meaning, the believer's weight, authority and influence "in the Holy Ghost", should proportionately increase based upon their soul's prosperity in Christ, day after day. (3 John 2)
Because the Bible says, "of the increase of His Kingdom there shall be no end", it's IMPOSSIBLE for a believer "in Christ" to STOP GROWING, if their NOT actively and consciously living, moving and having their being "in Christ"!
IF the believer "plays the grace card" and assumes that they can treat their "spiritual life in Christ" like a GYM MEMBERSHIP, which they use and pay attention to "casually" — "When the night comes, when no one will be able to work", the MUSCLE and the MOTIVATION within the believer to get things done is absent; because a divided heart or disinterest consumes the heart and takes priority over what HE WILLS!
After a prolonged season, the HEART GROWS COLD, and many years can pass without the believer even realizing that their hearts are far from GOD! WS-3 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
