"DON'T BE AFRAID TO FLY ALONE!"
"Fan clubs" and concentric "social circles" amongst people, has NEVER been "my thing", so it didn't take much for me to ACCEPT my "divine assignment" and "peculiar calling" from just over twenty-eight years ago, when The Lord told me to "consult business and church leaders from a faith-based perspective", which was NOT on my radar screen at the time; nor was it a desire of mine "at all"!
One of the first leaders that reached out to me, was the pastor of a very large church in Louisville, Kentucky, and he had received my name from a friend of mine named Rev. Arturo Kelly.
I attempted to CONVINCE this "referral" (pastor) that I was NOT interested or qualified to help him (Bless my heart!), and before he could tell me "who" had referred my name to him, I did almost everything in my power "to reject the assignment" that GOD was actually giving too me; on a "silver platter", by the way!
LISTEN: What I do is NOT glamorous; its very hard work in total dependence upon the grace of Almighty GOD, for favor, means and divine strategy for each and every ministry that I'm "sent" to help!
It's operating in faith, in humility and in wisdom, when I'm often blatantly or innocently disrespected, lied on, under-appreciated, or unpaid - especially "if" I have to confront "sin".
Because, the lack of character and the lack of integrity of some leaders, means I have to go deeper in the love of God to "be" HIS instrument. It's helping to prayerfully and thoughtfully repair and restore the gaping breach or brokenness (financially and spiritually) from the extremely sensitive egos, flesh, hubris, and pride (of the leader) without getting in "the flesh" myself!
RIGHT NOW: I'm sensing VERY STRONGLY that some of YOU (who will probably remain "anonymous", unless you want to privately seek counsel) are being "pushed" to accept assignments and responsibility in areas you don't consider "your passion" or "your vision"; but GOD, "begs to differ" with you!
It MAY or MAY NOT be my specific area as a consultant or entrepreneur, but it's also NOT glamorous or attention-getting either!
In 2023, if YOU determine just "to be about PURPOSE", you're going to solve the MYSTERY in your own life around the LACK OF EMPLOYMENT, MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY, and PROSPERITY that you've been "waiting on"!
DO NOT be afraid to be "isolated from the crowd", and MAKE SURE if you have the "same people" lauding or applauding everything that you do, to BE CAREFUL that you're NOT limiting yourself "hanging around the chickens" that love to "gather in groups" -- and love to "be affirmed by people"; but will NOT "die to SELF" long enough to be USED for HIS GLORY!
