#BE FREE!
When you have literally "lost everything" in your life -- and are given the chance to start all over again, your devotion and your perspective will be much different than before, and hopefully it changes the way that you live -- and the things that you subsequently "see" and pursue; which will end up giving you an even greater meaning and purpose than you've ever had before!
Through the years, I've faced many life-altering circumstances, like: sickness and disease, family loss and divorce, homelessness, depression, extended lay-offs and loss of income, prejudicial treatment in the workplace and amongst Christian leaders, as well as character assassinations and black-balling.
But, I not only "survived", but now I'm emerging from the ashes of those Job-like experiences with HIS divine perspective in my life, I am also possessing the wisdom to know how to walk in a way that honors and pleases HIM, and it's through this very painful process that GOD is saving and preserving me from any wasted moments or years that are all too often prevalent; where ignorance and indifference rules the day.
Of course "we know that all things work together for the good of those who love The Lord and are called according to HIS purpose", so what do we do with our testimonies to help maximize upon what GOD has permitted in our lives -- and will use us to do; if we but make room for HIM to get the glory from our story!?!
The Bible says that "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account." (Hebrews 4:13). In other words, in what was permitted, not only did GOD have a unique identifying purpose for everything that enters time -- or in and under the creative order, but even the "hidden man of the heart" that pertains to our spoken or unspoken desires, we will also give an account at the appointed time; which is why we must guard our hearts with all vigilance.
Yes, GOD KNEW that the unique events that have helped to shape and to mold you into the "vessel of honor" that you are, is a part of HIS mysterious handiwork -- even when HE didn't "author it" -- in the sense that the abuse, mistreatment or childhood orphanage wasn't HIS "perfect will" for you, yet HE has and will continue to use it for HIS Glory..
In our "broken world" entering the agency of time is definitely a "trust" between GOD and us, but we must decide to accept the terms of our legal entry; and then consistently appropriate the "finished work of Christ", to walk victoriously and triumphantly over all the power of the enemy -- and overcome all the strategies of the devil wherever we encounter them!
And, GOD being the author, the keeper and the sustainer of our times and seasons, requires us to manage and maintain our hearts, so that whatever we face, we may "count as all things as loss, for the surpassing knowledge of knowing Christ"!
When the Apostle Paul mentions this in Philippians chapter three, he does so with a complete abandon to entrust himself into the hands of Almighty GOD, in which we have all things to do! In this, IS the ultimate FREEDOM and the entrance into levels of maturity and usefulness to the Kingdom of GOD that literally will blow your mind, if we but take the journey with HIM in faith!
Herein also lies the reason that King David himself proclaimed, "Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked." (Psalm 84:10 NIV). Yes, the key to having this kind of "purified or perfected heart", is to personally resign ALL the grandiose visions and dreams of your heart in the ongoing process of "dying to live", so that whatever we birth or carry for the Kingdom of God, is NOT contaminated or polluted by our own egotistic or flesh-driven escapades.
Then, once you've graduated from the bothersome, the tiresome and the worrisome things that are meant to diminish the very existence of our FREEDOM, our JOY and our PEACE in Christ, the satanically devised strategies and soulish wrestling that once easily confused, hindered, and vexed you, now becomes the catalyst or springboard for deeper intimacy and understanding in your relationship with God.
And -- YES, because "Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you" (Psalm 89:14 NIV), we can "live to die, without fear", as our ongoing walk of faith becomes even more fruitful, more exciting and more rewarding; when nothing else has the power to distract or paralyze our expectations of The Lord fully releasing our inheritance and every promise from GOD to us.
Second Chronicles 16:9 says that God is always searching to "show Himself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward Him." THIS PASSAGE seems "so loud" too me right now, in the scheme of GOD doing some amazing things amongst HIS people in this season. But, FIRST, HE has to detox and deprogram us from the poison of the seducing spirits and vain visions that have crept in on the heels of the "erroneous doctrines", "profit motives" and the "merchandising spirit" of too many religious leaders under the influence of the prince of the power of the air!
Indeed, the spirit of mammon has truly infiltrated the ranks and imprisoned the souls of too many mixed-up men and women, who incorrectly place the "almighty dollar" before "God's people", while being captivating by "celebrity Christianity". This has so hijacked the mobilization of many who are a part of Christ's Remnant, from supernaturally functioning in the end-times -- without the delays and repeating cycles of carnal believers, by succumbing to defeat that devastates the advancement of the Kingdom of God in and through us!
YES, we can be FREE, but it's all up to us! This conviction can be one of the non-negotiable dispositions of the heart that refuses to bow or cow-tow to the invading forces in the world, which seek to diminish the impact of our witness for Christ and to keep us wandering in an abyss of heart wrestlings that ultimately paralyzes our ability to live and to enjoy life.
If there is anything in this life that taunts or troubles you about simply living your life to please God, and God alone, bring it to Jesus!
Your greater purpose being fulfilled, is ALL about your willingness to follow HIM!
