HELL-BENT ON JUDGMENT?
HELL-BENT ON JUDGMENT?
Latin: "Imago Dei" (Image of God) -- You and I are "Image Bearers" that must honor every human being that has been created in the image and made after the likeness of God, as Christ Ambassadorial Reps in the earth..
The reason that Christians support -- Pro-Life Causes, Prayer in Schools, Biblical Values, the Nuclear Family, and a Biblical Worldview (as examples) is because God's highest priority in life is the building, uplifting, advancement, and Zoe life that He has promised from scripture.

If the Universal Church or the Body of Christ actually believes that we have eternal truths and principles as the only basis for what we believe, what we pursue, and what we "bank on" in regards to the certainty of an eternal future in our heavenly home in eternity with JESUS CHRIST..WHY do we:
- barely reach out to the lost people we encounter DAILY, without EVER uttering a word to or for Jesus Christ?
- borrow from eternity frequently (how we spend "time") without a regard for the energy and preciousness of every moment that we're given in time to get things right?
- believe that ABBA is willing to send potentially millions of souls to hell that are legitimately struggling with homosexuality, and if "praying the prayer" and "confessing their sins" doesn't automatically "change them"; what are we supposed to do or how do we expect God to providentially intervene?
"TIME" is the agency which GOD has allotted to humanity (the opportunity) — "
to get things right"
(LEARN); "
to prove what's right
"(REPRESENT); and "
to make things right
" (TEACH)
Talking Points:
- Genesis 19:5-7. The most famous occurrence of homosexual behavior in the Bible comes in the first book of the Bible. It's the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, and it gives us our first insight into the topic. (See also Ezekiel 16:49-50.)
- Leviticus 18:22. The book of Leviticus delineates the laws and punishments of the Israelite nation under God. Chapter 18 lists forbidden sexual practices – most of which clearly apply in our American culture today.
- Leviticus 20:13. Chapter 20 of the same book adds more information on sin and consequences for the fledgling nation of Israel. But the New Testament answers this issue in Romans 6:23.
- 1 Corinthians 6:9-10. The New Testament is not silent on the issue of homosexuality. When writing to a church in the pagan culture of Corinth, Paul puts it squarely in the middle of a list of sins.
- 1 Timothy 1:10. Notice that homosexuality is not listed as the ultimate or unpardonable sin in these passages. But neither is it dismissed as lawful or normative for pursuers of God.
- Romans 1:26-27. Though serious, Jesus can redeem any of us and give us victory over our sin struggles.
