“BE” THE FIRST PARTAKER..
"CHRISTIANS" have to "develop", "yield" and "surrender" (moment by moment) to Holy Spirit's work "in them"; which means RENEWING THE MIND according to the WORD OF GOD, is the "starting point" for properly "repping JESUS" without shame, fear of reproach, or condemnation...SO, let "your convictions" serve to BALANCE 'YOU', by "keeping YOU" in check. But NEVER ASSUME that someone else needs to "be" the FIRST PARTAKER, if you're NOT walking in the reality of "it" yourself!
AND... The "developmental continuum in Christ" -- for those who are TRULY "born-again", carries NO CONDEMNATION; yet it is a HOLY STANDARD "established by" and "only fulfilled" through the GRACE OF GOD; "through our alignment and our agreement with the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ -- that makes us FREE from the Law of Sin and Death" ("in time"; "over time"; and "through time"). It's NOT automatic!
Q. Should we ALL be held to accountability about what we "say", "do", and "represent" IN HIS NAME?
A. ABSOLUTELY!
Q. Is it the job of CHRISTIANS to CENSOR and JUDGE other people (unbelievers)?
A. NO! BUT, we're obligated to make sure that we contribute to "Christian character", to civility, to the protection of the innocent and vulnerable in society (children; handicapped; etc.), and instead of JUDGING PEOPLE that struggle with "cussing" ("Christian's" in particular)-- WE SHOULD encourage them, by building non-judgmental and grace-filled RELATIONSHIPS that help them to lovingly confront and to understand the principles relating to the LAW OF CONFESSION (Biblical Law) that allows them to SEE the "fruit" from such LOOSE SPEAKING; that negatively affects their own lives, the environments their supposed to "salt", and the "spirit world" that is mindful of what the joint-heirs with JESUS CHRIST "actually say" -- in agreement or in disagreement with HIS HOLY WORD.
The POWER of LIFE and DEATH is "in the tongue"! (Proverbs 18:21)
