I absolutely love "military protocol", and as a former active duty soldier and Green-to-Gold ROTC Scholarship Recipient, I know the difference between a "preparatory command" and "command of execution"! Basically, one prepares you for action that should NOT be taken without the commanding officer's explicit instruction. I am convinced that the resilience of the human spirit is God's gift to humanity, and there is only one remedy for progress - "personal responsibility". I've noticed that the unhealthy dispositions of father-son relationships in the church stems from a predominant biblical illiteracy and denominational-bent, along with cultural traditions that we hold as sacred - which have no real basis in scripture. Amongst the African-American representation in Christ's Body is an interesting cultural history, with high regard for the "community spokesman" (church leader) on a range of important issues and subject matter that was the primary vehicle for rallying support and providing esteem for the leaders that fostered the Civil Right's Movement; and fought for human right's issues that helped more than just people of color.  Today, our leadership has a much more complex environment for doing ministry, but patterning ourselves after traditional models and mindsets is not beneficial or impactful to the communities of color that are struggling and dying, in many major metropolitan cities.  Christ ...

ENCOURAGEMENT: "Lack" is not having a NEED, but no SOURCE of supply to meet it! Some of you feel at a gross disadvantage, because God is using different people to sustain you - but you're getting all kinds of nasty attitudes and inappropriate statements "with" every gift they give... "Do not eat the bread of a miser, Nor desire his delicacies;  For as he thinks in his heart, so  is  he. (Proverbs 23:6-8 NKJV) WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?  Pastor: Is this saying, don't accept their gifts or hospitality? NO - this is saying don't BOW in your heart, as if YOUR ONLY SOURCE (Jesus Christ) is subject to their darkened hearts and wrong spirit about giving! They are NOT doing God a favor! The EARTH is the Lord's... The silver and the gold is HIS... ...

My brother and friend Andre' Taylor is one of the most profoundly anointed people that I know, due to his especially "peculiar intelligence" and "outspoken delivery" that makes "the complacent", uncomfortable - and "the uncommitted", squirm (Lol); and its no coincidence that he's allowing himself to be a mouthpiece for one of the areas of "restorative justice" that is in the Mind of God, but must be strategically laid out so that every opposing voice and force that comes against it -- is both corrected and defeated where it stands!
