"Shouldn't We Be Doing This?"
I've been watching video submissions of members of the LGBT community that are working together to curb the increasing suicide rates amongst gay teens on www.ItGetsBetter.org.
As I'm listening, my heart is pierced by the level of compassion that's being shown by people all over the country, who are frustrated and sickened by the inability of the religious community to lay down their "holy books" for a moment to curb this growing epidemic. Faith, Hope and Love are the only unsinkable principles that will remain, according to 1 Corinthians 13.
Perhaps our fear of compromising the gospel is our opportunity to show Christ's compassion without feeling that you've "sided with the sinners".
Let's go deeper, saints! WS-3
