#THE EARTH IS...GOD'S LABORATORY!

ONE RACE - ONLY...

It has been "wisely stated" that there is ONLY "one race, the human race, and I concur with that wholeheartedly! But, the human heart - without God, finds it necessary to distinguish and delineate our distinctions; to either achieve seniority of our ideals over someone else's; to point-out inferiority of others to ourselves; or to pridefully claim superiority over "another race"!

Conversations about "race" in this nation, generally don't seem to be productive - UNLESS, we incorporate "God's Perspective" on the matter, which can't be truly understood - by encouraging racial debate; by demeaning one another's unique positive and negative qualities; or by isolating one group from another - like the "KKK" or any other "race-baiting" or "race-hating" organization.

DEFINING TERMS IS IMPORTANT..

Before I can go any further, it's important that we all get on the same page - by defining some terms I'll refer to in this article, so that we're resolving to agree to disagree on the same premise..

It's one thing to disagree, but, if we never "define the playing field", we argue or debate, without finding a real "aim" or destination!

"Nationality" is the state of belonging to a particular nation.

"Ethnicity" is the state of belonging to a particular "social group" that has a common cultural or national tradition.

"Culture" is the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded - collectively.

Celebrating our "culture" use to mean or suggest that you had a certain orientation to your ethnic group's taste, which were collectively appreciated and valued.

From our definitions above, my "cultural preference" could mean that I connect on a particular issue with Asian men, who have similar interests in a certain technological  product line that a Caucasian female invented; which was actually manufactured by a African-American owned business, etc.

TIDY-LINES AREN'T SACRED...

While we'd like to keep tidy lines around our 'race's particular preferences',  like defining "blackness" amongst ourselves as African-Americans, the futility of attempting to completely "define" one person with another amongst an ethnic group by pigeonholing one another, is absolutely foolish!

Although our commonalities tend to communicate "our humanity's common bond ", no matter what ethnic or nationality - which none of us can deny; we STILL seem to be at each other's throats!

GOD'S ORIGINAL INTENT...

In this "cursed cosmos", as long as we're awaiting the complete restoration and renovation of this earth as we know it, the great chasm between "God's ideals" and "humanity's brokenness", will always be at the forefront of every conversation..

"God's Original Intention" was to perpetuate through Adam's obedience, the "Kingdom Culture", first seen through HIS Covenant with Israel - and then with the Church; as a devoted and disciplined people that would shape our world (the systems), our families (His creation), and our future (eternity).

 

What we see rampant throughout the world, is a multiplicity of sub-cultures or subdivisions of God's Idea - Kingdom Culture.  

The "sub" represents that which is under or below HIS Original Intent – meaning less valuable and less purposeful, perverted and poisoned!  

Sub-Culture is normally defined as a subdivision of a dominant culture or an enclave within it, with a distinct integrated network of behavior, beliefs and attitudes.

 

THE CULTURAL DIMENSION...

I define "the cultural dimension" as the general landscape of society, where both dominant-culture and sub-cultures form throughout every dispensation of human history; including the renaissance period, during world wars, or in times of societal upheaval or uncertainty.  

Culture consists of art, beliefs, customs, institutions, language, literature (endless bodies of knowledge), music, and science, which influences every person on earth, no matter what kindred, tribe or tongue they belong too.  As the enemy uses the "fallen" world system's attitudes, appetites appearances, and adherences towards conformity and peer pressure to keep the "hook in the jaw" for continuing to seduce every confused, religious or searching person – God's redemptive plan for One New Man in Christ is being established throughout the earth, through every available, dependent, and surrendered vessels that will undergo development through discipleship and suffering for righteousness sake.  

Satan's Scheme in the Cultural Dimension is to distract humanity from assuming the position in life that would rightfully align their lives with God, and impact the most people for eternity. 

WHY "INFLUENCE" CULTURAL?

So, you may ask - Why would God be concerned about us (Christians) influencing the culture at large, anyways?  

Because these subcultures under the influence of "the prince of the power of the air", help to create and foster injustice, inequality and indifference within the masses of humanity; and can never really unify, but only mimic HIS divine purpose - through uniformity, or a false sense of "community", like "COEXIST", one-world government ploys, and any religious power-base without God's Spirit at the foundation!

UNITY vs. UNIFORMITY...

 

This is the primary reason, even within the ranks of the Christian faith, that "the sphere of profession" or agreement on biblical doctrine, styles of worship, or eschatological viewpoints - is only uniformity!  

When we are truly "in Christ", HE alone - builds the bridge of unity, in spite of our diverse operations and administrations; our diverse worship services and teaching styles; our diverse ideas on pre-tribulation or mid-tribulation eschatology.  

The "essential doctrines" of the Christian faith are the place of agreement that's most important, and once those have been fully embraced – the rest is an organizational, recreational or personal doctrine that we must allow the Holy Spirit to deal with "us" about, personally!

"CELL CULTURE" IS REVELATORY...

 

There is also another interesting truth and scientific fact that I've discovered, as I've researched and prayed about writing this article –and it is regarding "cell culture".

 

"Cell Culture" has quite an insightful meaning that I believe will help us to grasp the mind of God, and HIS glorious plans for the ages, concerning the multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-lingual - Body, represented in Revelations chapter 5, in which all will be consummated in Christ.  

 

CONFORMITY IS DISUNITY...

When we attempt to conform to whatever cultural preference we value or esteem higher than "kingdom culture", we pervert HIS higher purposes and compromise the life that HE intended for every human being to have in abundance, to the full till it overflows!

Our "difference" and diversity has strategic purpose to God's Grand Plan..

For instance, "BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL, BUT CAN STILL BE SINFUL.."

"Black Pride", or pride of any kind - is NOT sinful, UNTIL we place a "blind" or "unrealistic dependence" upon ourselves! (I.e. - "Human Flesh", no matter what color!)

I am honored to have received my assignment on earth, in my handsome brown skin!

BUT, I also have enough sense to know that "every brown skinned person AIN'T - God's GIFT to humanity!

As a people, we've faced, and will continue to do so: some haters, injustice and judgment from other ethnicities and nationalities, and in some cases - "we've fed our persecutors"!

BLACKS representing ourselves as "consumers", "cultural casualties" (because we lead in many of society's stereotypical slumps), and as "change agents" (because we lead in shaping culture and influencing the masses - as "premier" athletes, entertainers, and powerful voices to the world)...

"SO, why is it even necessary to point out that "black folks" are sinful?  We're ALL SINFUL, according to the scriptures! 

You're ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, but, it's "black folks" that need to be HEALED THE MOST, because we've SUFFERED THE WORST- until we begin to corporately take steps to "mend our own families, communities, and nation - before things worsen, without intentional and deliberate repair!

WHERE DO "WE" START?

We start in our own houses and communities, as "people of color", and the following must be addressed:

#1 - HEAL THE SELF-HATE

#2 - JUDGE UNHEALTHY PRIDE

#3 - RENOUNCE CULTURAL TAGS

#4 - REPENT OF INNER-CONFLICTS & CRAB-SYNDROME

#5 - DISOWN THE TWISTED CULTURAL, RELIGIOUS & POLITICAL STEREOTYPES AND PATTERNS

#6 - REBUILD OUR FAMILY PRIDE & FAMILY STRUCTURE

#7 - RESTORE TRUST & LOVE BETWEEN BLACK MEN & WOMEN

#8 - REVERSE THE TIDE OF UNMITIGATED VIOLENCE & COMMUNAL DEVASTATION

#9 - HELP THE AFFLUENT & INFLUENTIAL TO STRATEGICALLY USE THEIR SUCCESS

#10 - LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE..

"HUMANITY" IS GOD'S CELL CULTURE...

The earth is God's laboratory, and humanity is the cell culture or the active "living cell" of all of creation...

 

Though each culture represents a diverse group of people, by ethnicity, language, socio-economic status, political affiliation, belief systems, values, and religious philosophies; as long as "God's Original Intention" is the priority for every human being, the living cells (humanity) will properly reproduce in the earth.  

As we continue to walk and experience the darkness and depravity of the human heart in these last and evil days, don't be surprised by Satan's agenda advancing through "racial conflicts", "racial prejudice", and "racial profiling"..
