"GOD IS SMARTER THAN US!"
EVERY DAY of our lives has a certain degree of monotony and boredom attached, if you're "attitude" or mind is one that is easily controlled or seduced by fears, by feelings or by frustrations that "come up"...
As 2016 is ending, it appears to be concluding as unpredictably as it began. WHY? Because, too many people have no "anchor" and no "compass" to chart their life course, and that's why they drift in indecision and "feel" so out of control with all the "unpredictables" in life.
Think about some of the "world events" that you've read about in your newspaper or watched on your favorite cable news channel, like: "David Bowie died in January; Debbie Reynolds died last Wednesday, one day after her daughter, Carrie Fisher. In between, the Chicago Cubs ended their 108-year drought by winning the World Series. The Cleveland Cavaliers won their first NBA title, ending forty-five years of frustration. Brexit was the greatest geopolitical surprise of the year until Donald Trump won the presidency."
Do ANY of these "unpredictable occurrences" have you on the proverbial "ropes" in your life as this year quickly concludes?
Has your "business or life plan" been put on hold and dramatically altered, because of some uncontrollable and unexpected occurrence that transpired "without your permission"?!?
Did your "New Year's Resolutions from 2016" become another hopeful adventure or wishful dream, without any kind of manifestation or materialization to move you forward in your path, purpose and vocation before Almighty God?
The acknowledgement of our "limited sovereignty", is one of the ways we can "stay sober" and "remain sensitive", during the various circumstances and random occasions that occurs in our busy and stressed-out lives.
If you're willing to discipline yourself, UNPREDICTABLE OCCURRENCES will fuel "the supernatural power of GOD" in your life, and you won't have to walk around "dreading" what YOU CAN'T CONTROL!
GLORY TO GOD!
