The "world's arrogance" exists because of their blindness, due to "sin" (pride, rebellion and selfishness)!
WHY is that "so upsetting" to CHRISTIANS?
According to God's Original Intent, "dominion" was NEVER something that the Father meant us (Adam and Eve) to do with PEOPLE..
The Genesis command to "be fruitful", "multiply", "subdue", and "have dominion" was about the stewardship of the "created earth" — water, wind, ground, sky..
God's relationship to the physical realm or dimension (space, time, and matter) has NEVER CHANGED outside of His New Covenant Promise to "one day" redeem (renovate) the earth, after the Second Coming as we move towards the Millennium..
"Manifesting Sons" (Greek: Teleios) carry what the world needs, including a pardon, a perspective, and a purpose that cannot be duplicated by human means.
If we're going to "make disciples" and usher in the Return of Christ, we must fundamentally understand this, and FUNCTION as "ambassadorial stewards" and "occupying change agents", so that what is perpetuated by the curse doesn't keep people from SEEING THE KINGDOM "in us", "through us", and "around us"!
