MORE HURT, PAIN & PERSECUTION?
THIS is "why" we must get a grip on these issues!
MORE HURT, PAIN and PERSECUTION will come to the LGBTQIA community, if we don't get a grasp on how best to acknowledge "difference" without allowing it to force change in an untimely and disruptive way that will backfire on the healthy progress and acceptance that has come to a community with many needs.
Even though I strongly believe in biblical marriage, traditional values, and age-appropriate engagement and interactions around such issues, I still believe it's important to protect the "inalienable rights" of every segment of society — no matter how adamantly I may be "against" certain things purported through aspects of the LGBTQIA Agenda..
People are NOT going to "set aside" their core beliefs and values to make others "happy". But, people will (within reason) support the "philosophy for change" that's needed to move society past some of the prejudicial laws that imposed a certain ideological, ontological or philosophical viewpoints that are unprincipled; and only serves to advance backwards and out-of-date positions.
