“EMBRACING PROCESS, SEEING PROGRESS”
"Process" is NOT God's arbitrary need to control your life or to involve Himself in the subsequent pathways we all eventually undertake on the journey of faith!
God does "work things" in us to bear a greater measure of fruit through us, but we must become honest about why certain things are happening in our lives; and graciously wait and appreciate His goodness and mercy through the difficult learning curves we call -"process"! Consider this: If you would just "repent", change your mind+attitude+direction about the problem area (sin) in your life, God would "take time out of the equation" and supernaturally do what your perfect performance, humanistic efforts, and "contacts" can't do - without years or tears prolonging the manifestation! Understand God-processing, and be free from being the source of your own demise today!
"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:28-31 NIV
When the fleshly barriers and internal forces of "impatience and pride" unexpectedly collide in a season of seeming delay and denial, this passage becomes even more relevant for the sincere believer that is placing all of their hope and trust in Christ; without the conscious knowledge of "the internal roots" of these most hindering thoughts and strongholds, at work.
"Impatience" is intolerance and restlessness with anything that seems to conflict with their goal or objective; seeing it (person, place or thing) as opposition, which is intentionally seeking to thwart or delay the determined path or progress that one is pursuing..
"Pride" is the inordinate affection and arrogance of an individual towards their vain or subjective opinions and viewpoints, which tends to blindly pursue its own glory, superiority and value.
These two strongholds work together, because "impatience fuels pride, and pride fuels impatience", until an eventual fall or repeated cycle reintroduces similar circumstances that either finally breaks the cycle from occurring, or the situation ends in horrible defeat.
This passage draws attention to the reality that "spiritual endurance" and the subsequent victory that is to follow, is "no respecter of persons" and has no favorites; even "youths shall faint"...
God's Purpose in allowing these internal forces within our own hearts to surface, is to give us the opportunity to benefit from successfully walking through the dark places that gives you both the "treasures of darkness" and the "keys of the kingdom" to walk victoriously and triumphantly "in the midst of your foes"!
And, whether you find yourself - "moving supernaturally" into God-ordained places, "running" through the doors and opportunities that HE has opened, or just walking around living everyday life, you will NOT FAINT!
If we be honest, many of us are impatient and prideful, because we feel like we have something to prove to others for the past pain, rejection and persecution that we've gone through during the last season.
GOD WILL RESTORE, but "vengeance belongs to HIM"!
None of us can manipulate or accelerate our process, through unnecessary sacrifices, our streaming tears, or because of the belligerent attitudes "in our hearts", towards the things God has permitted along the way..
Let God show you - your own heart, through the circumstances of life!
IT'S ALL for our good, and someone else's!
