MAKING A DIFFERENCE?
To ALL of my co-laborers in the gospel, I want to affirm your call, encourage your faith, and support the unique work in the vineyard in which God has called YOU to serve!
Many times, the isolation and loneliness that's associated with being a true messenger of the Gospel of the Kingdom is just NOT easy to bare!
So, private struggles and internal battles become even more pervasive, and a point of satanic access in the "gates" and "armor" of the believer - is compromised, so we end up cycling in defeat for much of our Christian walk!
Noah was a real-life example of what "swimming up stream" looks like, in the realm of the spirit.
No one wants to really look foolish, while every one else simply wants to appear "hip" and "in touch" with life (relevant); but often at the high cost of being "in darkness", because we've adopted "cultural definitions" for significance, relevance and positive influence amongst our peer-groups, without truly seeing how distant we've become from HIS ways and HIS will!
"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. "For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, "and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. "Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. "Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. "But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. (Matthew 24:36-44 NKJV)
If you're going to survive as a Christian in 2013, you've got to seek God about three things:
1) BOLDNESS
2) COURAGE
3) WISDOM
God will require our "peculiarity" to be even more pronounced in the coming days; and I'm NOT talking about being weird or super-spiritual!
If your REALLY HIS, the time for "hiding" is over! BE like Noah...WS-3
