“SYRUPY SWEET vs FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT”
"SYRUPY SWEET vs FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT"
Saying something "in love" doesn't mean it comes out "syrupy sweet", where the potential of offense - ceases, no matter how nice or kind your words may be; because the content (truth) may cut to the core of their heart, bringing to the surface some pain that they may not have known exist, or didn't ever want to have to confront!
The "Fruit of the Spirit" should be evidenced though, but "spiritual things must be spiritually discerned", so don't expect bitter, carnal, or wounded people to receive your words, in love!
Therefore, "In love", primarily implies and reveals that the "underlying intentions" or the "motivating factors" - in which something is communicated; many times is flawed due to "the expression" coming out all wrong!
If "God's love" is the foundation of our communication, even if we "ere in saying something the wrong way", the Spirit of Truth can reveal our hearts to the "spiritual person" that is open to receive it!
DON'T TRIP..."err-body ain't spiritual!" LOL! WS-3
