MAGA WITH A TWIST..

MARXISM, SOCIALISM and COMMUNISM is NOT "the answer"!

BUT, MAGA with a twist, is..

The "same way"'that the Main Street Media (MSM) is NOT the ONLY KEY to CHANGING the NARRATIVE in our country, so MAGA is MORE than a "political party and movement" — it's a mechanism meant to reimagine the GLOBAL IMPACT and the PERVASIVE INFLUENCE of "Making America Great Again" through:

— Activism and Advocacy surrounding the need to build the bridge between the "felt needs" and "political change", by understanding that SOCIO-ECONOMICS (the realities and rhythms surrounding the ranging experiences of POC) and SOCIAL CHANGE (the raw data and trends relating to the known generational disparities associated with environmental and societal movements and expansions); THIS is where DEMOCRATS prioritize their focus on the politics that they engage, leading to WHY their narrative is POPULAR and REAL to the average American experience.

— Now that REPUBLICANS appear to be "open" to the struggles and views of the "WORKING CLASS", the MAGA Movement's "marketing approach and public engagement" is beginning to TRANSLATE "more and more"!

EXPANDING THE MAGA-MODEL TO MEET "FELT NEEDS"

In my PREVIOUS WORK of addressing the comprehensive agenda of IDENTIFYING and potentially REVERSING the inequities of long-standing policies held by our Federal Government that were entrenched COLONIAL PRACTICES in Minnesota through the work of Everybody In.

BRIEF HISTORY OF COLONIALISM in the U.S.:

Colonial mentality is defined as the perception of ethnic and cultural inferiority and a form of internalized racial oppression. It is deemed a direct consequence of the Philippines' long history of colonialism.

The Colonial Mentality Scale sorted manifestations of colonial mentality into five categories: (1) Within-Group Discrimination, (2) Physical Characteristics, (3) Colonial Debt, (4) Cultural Shame and Embarrassment, and (5) Internalized Cultural/Ethnic Inferiority.

The philosophy underpinning the "White Man's Burden" consisted of the "Three C's of Colonialism: Civilization, Christianity, and Commerce."

UPDATING or REIMAGINING OUR WELFARE SYSTEM, WITHOUT PROMOTING UNHEALTHY DEPENDENCIES

The premise or philosophy of these political ideologies, I don't ascribe to, but for GOOD REASON! The "heart" to help the poor at the expense of others isn't charity, so the answer is NOT simply in TAXING anyone more than we're already being taxed..

Although I'm NOT an economist, I've done a lot of STUDY to "locate myself" in the ranging philosophies and practices of a successful welfare system or political/economic strategy -- for some form of "redistribution to the poor" that actually works somewhere in the world, which we simply need to adapt and to emulate in our country; to continue to help those most in need.

Because of that, I understand the need for a transitional "Welfare System" as a part of a comprehensive redistribution strategy for the poorest in our country; but NOT in the form of a mandated government policy that unfairly taxes the rich, by forcefully taking their resources to support the poor.

Instead, I believe that our governmental system should lessen their political and economic control, manipulation, and overreach -- based upon the current governmental dysfunction seen in the "monopolistic capitalism", special interests, and party politics that are a MAJOR PART of the diabolical forces that are at work -- adding to the worsening and severity of the deplorable conditions that currently exists for the poor and for the dwindling middle class in the US; as seen in other countries around the world. I.e. - Africa being the wealthiest continent on the earth, but ravaged by the greed of both the American and European governments (colonialist practices) from our past history that absolutely took advantage of the political and economic corruption of many of Africa's leadership, to monopolize upon their unlimited natural resources and wealth in the land itself..through events like the Transatlantic and Trans-Saharan "slave trades" as a real good example!!!

These historical movements which we rarely discuss in our social commentaries reveal how the imbalance of socialism on either side of the coin is DANGEROUS!

MY WORK WITH PAUL FLEISSNER and OLMSTED COUNTY

I've had the privilege of working with Paul Fleissner, who was both the Deputy County Administrator and Deputy Administrator for Olmsted County in Rochester, Minnesota.

Paul's roles:

I absolutely enjoyed being on the advisory board with involvement at the county level in the 7-departmental areas of the Community Services Division, which deals with every aspect of human and social services.

What was exciting to see, is the development of interagency service models that allows different governmental agencies that serve the needs of the poor, to reapportion and to reallocate the use of funds with a different degree of flexibility unique to the clients transition to stability, productivity and opportunity -- to include entrepreneurial paths, "vocational" educational benefits, and more thoughtful sustainability support until a "livable wage" becomes a reality for the person or family; cutting down the client abuse and cyclic nature associated with redistribution and welfare as historical record.

I've ALSO studied/am studying a 67-page Harvard white paper called "Why Doesn't The US Have A European-Style Welfare State?", which provides a historical perspective on the success/failure of what a more robust "Welfare State" means in Europe, compared to the US to determine whether THAT's "the answer"...

Of course, that is what Bernie Sanders was "selling" through his political campaign; which honestly is moving BACKWARDS instead of moving FORWARD; after many practitioners and economist have been actively studying the impact and outcomes of our current welfare system, having many people to draw reasonable conclusions from studying the BEHAVIOR of those beneficiaries who have been captives to our system for generations/years.

BECAUSE we haven't properly adjusted to the nuance of "human behavior, which is THE ISSUE we must consider while reforming and reorganizing our welfare system, to properly transition the poor to the middle class by adjusting the regulatory and managerial controls of the use of the dollars we already have for the ultimate success and personal productivity of the poor..

The bottom line is that Americans redistribute less than Europeans because (1) the majority believes that redistribution favors racial minorities, (2) Americans believe that they live in an open and fair society and that if someone is poor it is their own fault, and (3) the political system is geared towards preventing redistribution. In fact the political system is likely to be endogenous to these basic American beliefs.

These results are probably not a surprise to you or to anyone else who truly understands the issues, but the nuance is the Political, Economic and Behavioral issues of the US's governmental and political system, play a major role in the reason our current human service allocations and appropriations can be better used -- making it MORE a matter of functional use, than inadequate means.

Adding to this dilemma is the government's incessant need to govern every aspect of our welfare system, with the need to always operationally manage and control the specific use of those dollars to the detriment of those benefitting from the resources themselves.

The government tends to mess things up by making the regulatory aspect of "the use and allocation of those funds", more about "the accountability of use" than "the appropriate management and intelligent application of private practitioners and institutions" that better FITS into the nuances of each person or families unique circumstances, to foster a more supportive transitional management system and opportunities for those in need, by simply allowing the private and nonprofit sector to take the LEAD on serving the needs of the poor; including the FAITH COMMUNITY without prejudice!!

CONSIDERING THE OBJECTIONS AND CONVERSATIONS WITH A BLACK PREACHER AND SOCIAL WORK PRACTITIONER

WHEN Marxism, socialism or communism becomes the "ruling philosophy" politically, socially and economically in the US, we'll anoint "another Hitler", which is NOT what anyone with "good sense" wants to do in this country!

The CHURCH fully dependent and empowered by the Holy Spirit does NOT need the government to be its answer, and can deal with the issue of poverty "head on";  and that is HOW "constructive and long-term change" will happen in our communities.

The DILEMMA is: How many people trust "the government" MORE than "the church"; and why?

Yes, "gentrification" is an issue, and "urban bias" is akin to it; but only because — instead of properly managing our communities ourselves, the government and law enforcement's intervention all too often becomes necessary..

WHY? In my opinion, the POWERLESS CHURCH, fueled by communities that we're afraid to reach and minister to — because of the entitlement, the militancy, and the violence we encounter; or the simple fact that we're OVERWHELMED by the volume of the need.

AND, "redlining" is WHY owning our own banks (as an example) is SO NECESSARY, because until we can strategically address some of the negative attitudes and mentalities that are seen in communities of color; we can't expect more of the same, without CHANGING and becoming worthy of anyone's investment -- even "successful and wealthy people of color" that "make it"..

LIBERATION THEOLOGY dangerously lays "their experience" over GOD's WORD, and justifies their WANDERING because of it!  The #BLM movement will NOT right racial discrimination, and will NEVER address our community and its SIN! So much wisdom with so much left TOO SEE, but NOW is the time!
