"MY FIRE IS FOR SAFETY" - WOTL 01.27.05

Important Disclaimer : This Word of the Lord was received during a time of private devotion and worship with Jesus Christ in January of 2005. This was common for my departed wife and I, and that context is important to understand for those without the experience or exposure to God speaking. I'm reposting this over seven years later, because I'm now walking in the fulfillment of this powerful declaration - from the Father's heart to ours. Heed this rhema for your own life and ministry! WS-3 SCRIPTURAL BASIS: I Sam 16:5-14; Rom 9:14-23; I Peter 2:21-23; Amos 3:22-39; II Sam 12:7-14; 2 Samuel 16:5-14; Matt. 18:21-35; Proverbs 3:3-4; 2 Samuel 12:21-23   "When I speak to you concerning an area that I want you to make corrections, I see the end from the beginning; and often my intent is to help you to overcome a tendency or proclivity that could hinder your future intimacy and success.   Intimacy through your daily devotion with me is the key.   Getting underst...

"A Biblical Response to the Kingdom Message"

·        Since the Hoy Spirit is in the earth to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment, as well as empower genuine Disciples of Christ to represent and reflect Christ to the lost and dying world – what is the message that the church is called to share? o    “Of sin” – because there is only one deadly sin, and that is the sin of not believing in Jesus Christ, or accepting the finished work as the only redeeming sacrifice for humanity’s sins.    God doesn’t care what you have done, or how dark your past sin may be.     I know this - that the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses a man from all sin, no matter what it is. (Jn. 3:17-18, Jn. 16:9) o    “Of righteousness” – because now no matter how godly, moral, honest, good, benevolent, or charitable you may be, you cannot make it on your own. We all need Jesus Christ. We all need to believe in Him. For believing in Him, our sins are forgiven....

"Preaching & Teaching: The Gospel of the Kingdom"

"Preaching and teaching the Gospel of the Kingdom" is all about "proclaiming the truth of the life and ministry, saving and healing power, and the glorious resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ for eternal salvation, victorious living, and heavenly bliss for all eternity"; to EVERYONE who will listen and receive "the ETERNAL gift", packaged in the Gospel Message.   Most people know what they’ve done wrong, what they’re doing wrong, and what they should be doing; so what does long sermons about how horrible of a sinner we all are really going to accomplish for the Kingdom of God? ·          Nothing more than leading immature believers into further condemnation, or the sinner into a prison of shame, because they know that their weak, frail, and prone to return back to their old ways or sin.   Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, is proclaiming the "kingdom ideals" and sharing the good news from the Word of God, which au...

"So You Call Yourself A Christian, Heh?"

DISCLAIMER:   SO, when a Christian is consistently EXERCISING DOMINION, many view this as some “Theological Takeover”; but, what it REALLY REPRESENTS is an “authentic Christianity” — that well represents the INEXHAUSTIBLE HEADSHIP of Jesus Christ; in WISDOM, in HUMILITY, in HONOR, and in REVERENCE towards Almighty God in everything that we say and do! When we understand this, then the RIGHT OF CONSCIENCE becomes a critically important element for “how” CHRISTIANS should relate “with” and “to” THE WORLD! IMPOSING OUR IDEALS on everyone is NOT the answer! DISCIPLING THE NATIONS to everyone is having our PROPER FOCUS; and the only way to DO THIS RIGHT is by KNEE-LEADING! GOD’s UNFOLDING AGENDA My passion for the lost, and my love for the diversity of humanity has intensified, since I first realized the call of God upon my life and began to walk in it!  One of the things I've grown to appreciate is the "Mind of the Spirit", which knows the best part of our humanity, and devel...

REPOST of www.IntheBeloved.org

REPOST of www.IntheBeloved.org - "Love Covers a Multitude of Sins" (1 Peter 4:8; James 5:20) WHAT DOES IT MEAN "TO COVER?" If we desire to be instructed by the Word of God, we must understand what God says. This expression has occasioned some misunderstanding. The word "cover" (kalupton) is used in the following places, from which the meaning will be obvious: Matt. 8:24; 10:26; Luke 8:16; 23:30; 2 Cor. 4:3*; Jas. 5:20**; 1 Pet. 4:8. The thought is--to hide from view. It does not mean--to look the other way. It does not mean--to patiently bear the sins. It does not mean--to ignore the sins. It means "to cover." In order to cover something, a definite action must be taken with respect to the thing covered. Love will act in regard to sins. Another has remarked, "May there not also be the thought that the service of love will watch with jealous eye the beginning of evil in a brother and by washing his feet prevent the full developmen...

"Impacting Your Generation"

When God called a prophet to their generation in the past, He familiarized he or she with their assignment; He introduced them to their audience; and He prepared them for the associated atacks of the opponents and critics that would act as sources of growth and development, during the walk of faith with Christ! According to Hebrews 1:1-2,God "has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds." According to Revelation 19:10,"For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Since Christ accomplished the "finished work", every functioning five-fold ministry gift should be all about seeking His exaltation and glorification, until the ultimate redemption of our bodies - or at His Second Coming. The consummation, restitution and restoration of all things in Christ will occur in these last days, as Christ fills all-in-all. To the degree that we will empty ourselves and become ...

"The TRAYVON MARTIN Story: God, Please Change Our Hearts"

What do we do with this Tragedy? Tragedy as an "Opportunist".- reacting to tragic circumstances with profit motives to champion an agenda, but with no real committed desire or dedicated response that's needed to encourage change and transformation in the hearts of people. Tragedy as an "Advocate". - doing what you do everyday, to curb the tide of economic, prejudicial or social injustice Tragedy as a "Catalyst". - an event or occurrence that forces complacent or dying communities to go deeper than the surface of miscarriages of justice or systemic negligence and prejudice Whose to blame? George Zimmerman is on the "hot seat" for good reason in the tragic death of Trayvon Martin, and he should be! But, the growing response to this particular incident should quicken "our community" and "our generation" to the horrible reality that hatred, injustice, prejudice and wickedness still exist. What should we (the general community)...
