"UNEDITED VERSIONS"..

"UNEDITED VERSIONS"... "And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing]." (Revelation 12:11 AMP) I have NEVER lived more conscious of my own mortality, as I have in this season - and, I assign it to several distinct circumstances and situations that have occurred in my life.. #1 - The loss of every major influence and pillar amongst my family and my closest friend/mentor, during the past ten years. #2 - My lay-off from my last corporate job over two-and-a-half years ago, having to totally depend upon The Lord - day-by-day. #3 - Turning "40", and having a sense of even a greater degree of purpose and focus - in really making a difference for eternity. #4 - "Walking alone" and learning the importance of keeping my trust "in The Lord", and ...

"IDENTITY: No One is GOOD, but GOD!"

TONITE... The lesson that I taught the youth with Samuel Marron at Iglesia Apostolica Profetica, was called "IDENTITY: No one is GOOD, but GOD!" I can NOT express how profound the truths from God's Word really are, as we began our journey back in the Genesis account, which clearly outlines "God's Original Intent" for mankind. Pastor J. C. O'Hair writes, "Only perfect human beings are fit for the presence of the Holy God, and only perfect human beings will come into the realization of that hope, which is laid up in heaven." He goes on to say that "Here then we see our great problem: we are all unrighteous, and no unrighteous man shall enter the kingdom of God. God is the "Great Physician"! HE has thoroughly diagnosed our case, and given us a clear record of that diagnosis. But HE has done much more. HE has prescribed an absolute cure and, at the greatest possible cost to HIMSELF; HE has provided "the remedy". So far as ...

"DISCERNMENT is Essential for PEACE"

FAMILY: Your "discernment" is NOT "your feelings" about a matter- after an encounter, experience or exchange with an individual occurs! DISCERNMENT is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit in the life of a devoted and disciplined follower of Christ, who has prioritized God's Word (Logos & Rhema) above the limiting experiences that occur in everyday human interactions; which often ill informs - without our "spiritual antennae" attuned or sharpened enough, to both perceive and understand the strategies of hell against a person's life, by having the Mind of the Spirit on the matter! It (discernment) is NOT some "mind-reading sensitivity" or "predicting someone's intentions" - spiritual mechanism, that God has given to ANY of us "to use, on one another"..?!? YOUR - past disappointments, hurts, judgments, and suspicions are NOT the primary source or foundation for things which are "born of the Spirit", and sh...

KNEE-LEADING" is Leadership-101!

In almost two decades of consulting church and para-church organizations, it is RARE to find the "one thing" required for a successfully anointed, purpose-driven and relevantly impactful ministry... The RIGHT and ONLY way to lead God's People, is ON YOUR KNEES! Leaders - who have "intercessory ministries" that support "them", fundamentally understand the principal and the importance of God's Presence and Power being center-stage - of all the ministry activity and outreach that will occur.. BUT, if he or she is NOT "on their face", as an every day posture in leading God's People, they will eventually begin relying upon one of the other "tools" that God apportions to the "ascension functions or gifts" in Christ's Body, which brings eventual compromise, imbalance or complacency into the picture! What "tools" are you referring to? I.e. - Ministry supporters, your charisma and giftedness, your denomination...

IS "PURPOSE" SUPPOSED TO FEEL LIKE THIS?

Yesterday evening, as a ministered to a bunch of youth, ranging between the ages of twelve and eighteen years old, I can't describe the exhilaration of "seeing lives transformed" before my eyes - by simply sharing the Gospel in a way that both inspires them and gets their attention.. The "call of God" has been upon my life since I was very young, but it seems more real (or fitting) to me now, than it did before!  I guess that's partially because of the very young age that I began to both hear and excitedly seek out HIS voice and presence; and now, it just feels like a continuation of that - with much more substance and satisfying contentment than I could have ever imagined! When you're truly "walking in purpose", the swirling indecision and debilitating silence of the unknown, can quickly get the best of you - if your not planted in the knowledge that God's not in a rush to "use you"; HE wants a relationship with you! HE wants you...

"How to Pray Evangelistically"

How to Pray Evangelistically By Chuck Lawless Three years before my father passed away, he turned to Christ for salvation. It was amazing, actually.  My dad had quite a temper prior to his conversion. My childhood memories of his displays of anger still echo in my mind. Though my grandmother was a strong believer, Dad never showed interest in Christianity. In fact, he first believed that many routes lead to God; "we're just following different paths," he told me. We prayed for more than 30 years that Dad would become a believer.  Then, it happened. Dad called my little brother to say he wanted to talk about following Jesus . . . right then! God so transformed my father that we spent the final years of his life getting to know a new man. He was a trophy of God's grace, an undeniable example of 2 Corinthians 5:17a—"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation" (HCSB). God graciously answered our prayers. Are you praying for non-Christians to turn to...
